The eBook for our large rainbow cushion is finally finished! With our very detailed, illustrated step-by-step instructions, you can sew a fantastic rainbow in your favorite colors. While our Rainbow Cushion looks great as nursery decor, it is far more than just a children's cushion. You can also use the small version as a neck pillow. With the BIG Rainbow Cushion pattern, you can sew a great nursing pillow that can simultaneously be used as a baby pillow, tucked around their bottom, as a bumper for play. The large cushion is sewn with a zipper and an inner cushion, while the small rainbow is fully washable.
We always get quite nervous and excited when we release a new pattern. For months, we poured our heart and soul into creating the pattern and the eBook, wondering several times in between whether we should really go to the trouble of doing illustrated descriptions or if photos would suffice (but we just like the drawings too much…) … So many evenings and nights when we thought we would finally be finished, only to find ourselves comforting one to three sick children to sleep or simply having a wide-awake one-year-old jumping around us who had no intention of sleeping at three in the morning—life is so exciting! And then, after what felt like a thousand optimizations, changes, and sewing it one last time (and ensuring no one wiped their runny nose on the cushion before it was photographed), finding errors in the text… the time has finally come. The moment of truth. Do you like the pattern? Is the description easy to understand? Are the illustrations clear enough?

Such a rainbow simply puts you in a good mood and lets the sunshine in. The small rainbow cushion is also used as a neck pillow in our house. The special highlight of our "BIG Rainbow Cushion" is that it can also be used perfectly as a nursing pillow, and afterwards, it simply remains a great, incredibly comfortable cuddle cushion. The large cushion is sewn with an inner pillow and a zipper so that it is washable; the small one fits completely in the machine. Even beginners with some sewing experience can conjure up a great cushion.
