Cleaning

• Dust and loose dirt: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth or a slightly damp, soft cloth.
  
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents: Solvent-based cleaners, abrasive agents, or alcohol-based substances can damage the surface and lead to embrittlement or cracking.

Care

• Avoid direct sunlight, as UV radiation can fade the material and make it brittle.
• Avoid heat sources (e.g., radiators, stoves) to prevent drying out and cracking.
• For long-term storage, protect the material with a breathable cover.
• Reduce mechanical stress: Avoid sharp, pointed, or rough objects, as they can damage the surface.
• Avoid excessive stretching or folding to reduce cracking and abrasion.

Processing

• A Teflon foot or roller foot should be used when sewing, as this slides better over the surface.
• The sewing machine stitch length should not be set too small, as this will perforate the material too much and it may tear.
• Pay special attention to edges and corners: When bending or turning, the material can tear at these points – therefore, work carefully and, if possible, protect the edges with reinforcement measures (e.g., edge bindings or piping).

Note: Printed artificial leather can lose color over time - especially on edges and areas exposed to increased friction. This is normal wear and tear and not a valid reason for a complaint.

The colors of the materials may differ from those on the screen. Color variations may also occur between different quality levels. Each batch may differ in color from the previous one.
