Dots, Budgies & More: new designs on French Terry 🌈

It is slowly getting cosy outside. And for exactly this time of year we have put three designs on French Terry: the fabric that turns a Sunday on the sofa into an outfit. And the other way round. The Budgies have put on a thick jumper, More is More now blooms in dark blue too, and on top comes a pattern that is everywhere right now: dots. 🌈

Dotty: dots in six colours

Organic French Terry Dotty with dots in navy, lilac, spring green, hot pink, candy pink and tomato

Polka dots are back, and we think: rightly so. Dots are playful but so wearable that they work on a Monday morning too. Dotty comes in navy, lilac, spring green, hot pink, candy pink and tomato, all in our French Terry fabrics. Six colours that work just as well with each other as with our solids. A navy sweatshirt with cuffs in tomato? Yes, right away. 😅

Budgie: the budgies get ready for winter

You celebrated our Budgies on jersey in spring so much that they now get to stay for the cold season too. Same birds, same good mood, a lot more cuddle factor: Budgie in navy on French Terry. You will find more animals and characters on fabric in the matching collection. If you already have the design in your wardrobe, you can now sew the matching winter piece.

More is More: finally in dark blue

Organic French Terry More is More navy with flowers

Our floral bestseller in the version that goes with every pair of jeans and still blooms to the max. More is More in navy is for everyone who loves bold patterns but wants to sew clothes for every day. Maximalist, colour-rich, and thanks to the dark blue still easy to wear. Want it even more floral? Floral & Botanical is our playground for that.

The fabric: organic French Terry with Silky Touch

French Terry is a knit fabric with a smooth outside and fine loops inside. Our organic French Terry is 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane, weighs around 260 g/mÂČ and is about 160 cm wide. The surface is silky smooth, which is why we call it Silky Touch: prints look especially crisp and bright on it. The elastane keeps cuffs, sleeves and hoods in shape.

Like all our fabrics it is printed with reactive inks. Small irregularities in structure or print are normal with natural fibres and not a defect.

What you can sew from it

French Terry is the all-rounder for autumn and winter: sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, sweat dresses, kids' clothes and cushions. For layering, combine it with our jerseys, which are thinner and wear well underneath. And if you mix Dotty and Budgie or More is More, the colours go together, because Eva designs them to match. Perfect Match, as we call it. đŸ©·

How to care for French Terry

Machine wash at 30 to 40 degrees, ideally inside out so the print stays bright for a long time. Wash once before cutting, because cotton shrinks a little in the first wash. For sewing, use a jersey or stretch needle and an elastic stitch; an overlocker is the fastest.
