DIY Sewing - School Cone - easy to sew yourself

At the last minute, our pattern with instructions for the school cone is finally ready. There are two versions for the sections of the cone; you just have to decide which one you like better. The second version is great if you only have a fat quarter of your favorite fabric, as the middle part fits perfectly onto it. The sweet cone is really quick and easy to sew, and I have illustrated the instructions in very small steps again, so that beginners should also be able to get along with it well. Now you just need a 70cm cardboard blank, fabric, your sewing machine, ribbons, and plenty of frills for decoration.

The first day of school and the enrolment are, of course, incredibly exciting for everyone. Suddenly the little ones are somehow big and yet they look so tiny compared to the huge school bag. Our eldest is now in 4th grade, but honestly, we haven't even experienced a proper school enrolment yet. Back then, three years ago, two days before the big day, our daughter suddenly had facial paralysis on one side and had to be taken to the hospital with suspected meningitis. That was, of course, a huge shock. Fortunately, there was an all-clear after a few days. In any case, the poor dear was only allowed to take part in the welcome in class for half an hour; she then had to unpack her school cone in the hospital.
Our little ones still have some time until they start school. This year, however, I unpacked the pattern again for my nephew and the daughter of good friends, and on this occasion finally digitized the pattern and created a description.
